After a long day of meetings and tests, Iowa State students are ready to close their laptops and pick up their forks. But what’s on the menu? These days, students are tickling their taste buds with options like spicy kung pao chicken, hearty vegan vegetable soup, whole wheat penne rigate, and more. Because Iowa State has become a destination for dining.
The Memorial Union Food Court features popular spots to grab a quick bite, including Godfather’s Pizza, Panda Express, and Subway, while dining centers like Seasons Marketplace have fresh salad bars, gourmet pizzas, and stir-fry stations. Our campus cafés are the perfect spots to pick up a tasty wrap – and when you feel like a burger basket, head to one of the traditional restaurants on campus, such as Clyde’s Sports Club.
But what about when you need a snack to get through studying? Just stop by an on-campus C-Store or café where you’ll find choices like salted caramel cupcakes and lattes to all-natural smoothies and fresh veggies. Our dining options also include vegetarian and vegan selections, along with gluten-free and low-fat choices to meet our students’ varying dietary needs.
At Iowa State, you can expect to find culinary creations that are new to you, along with the comfort food you can’t get enough of. After all, our students come from around the world, so we offer the snacks and meals that make them feel right at home. No matter their tastes.
